In 2022 Punjab ETT recruitment process 5994 vacancies were released, the application process for which was closed on the 10th of November 2022. Eligibility and Selection Criteria for The Punjab ETT Exam 2022
All candidates between 18-37 years of age can apply for Punjab ETT Exam 2022 in the recruitment drive. The candidate must have 50% or higher marks in graduation to be eligible to sit for the exam.
The ETT Exam is just a two-step process that involves a written exam and document evaluation. The candidates who score the highest marks in the written exam are called for the document verification process. A merit list of selected candidates is released online, on the official website of the Education Recruitment Board.

Pattern Punjab ETT Exam 2022
To prepare smartly for an exam it is good to know the weightage of each section of the exam so before giving a detailed syllabus, here is a concise pattern of Punjab ETT Exam marks weightage for each section. To start with, the test is divided into 2 parts, A and B.

Punjabi Syllabus
- Detailed knowledge of Sikh gurus.
- Punjabi and Sufi poets like Gurmati Kavi, Bulleh shah, etc.
- Prose knowledge of writers like Sri Teja Singh, Harpal Singh Pannu, Kulwant singh Virk, Ajit Kaur etc.
- Grammar like vocabulary and script, language aesthetics, word identification, types of sentences, idioms, Articles and Punctuations, and Synonyms.
English Syllabus
- Comprehension passage.
- Grammar like articles, conjugations and Modals, prepositions and determiners, tenses, error correction, narration, clauses, and transformation.
- Synonyms and antonyms, one-word substitutions, idioms and phrases.
- Translation between English and Punjab.
Hindi Syllabus
- Scripts, alphabets and words, nouns, pronouns, adjectives and verbs, adverbs, synonyms and antonyms.
- Prefix and suffix, one word for the phrase, opposites, idioms, proverbs, Punjabi to Hindi translation.

FAQs
To be eligible for the Punjab ETT Exam 2022 the candidate must be above 18 years and below 37 years of age, and they must have secured 50% or above marks in graduation. Though the Punjabi language is not mentioned as a criterion the exam contains a test for Punjabi so that is also a requirement.
The admit cards for the Punjab ETT Exam 2022 will be out a week before the exam. The date of the exam is 05 March 2023.
The university-level ETT Punjab is held to provide admission to several diploma courses. The test is given once a year. The State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), Punjab, has created a merit list that will serve as the only basis for the admissions process.
According to the ETT Exam date sheet, the exam is to be commenced in March 2023.
