Courses Offered by DU SOL

Eligibility for Courses under DU SOL

Here is the eligibility for each course under DU SOL:

BA To secure admission into these courses it is required that
the candidates complete 10+2 from a recognized board or a university.
Additionally, they are required to score a minimum of 40% in
the relevant best four subjects.
B.Com To secure admission into these courses it is required that
the candidates complete 10+2 from a recognized board or a university.
Additionally, they are required to score a minimum of 40%
in the relevant best four subjects.
BA (HONS) Candidates are required to score an aggregate of 50% with
English as one of the subjects. Additionally, applicants must
score at least 60% marks in three academic subjects with
vocational subjects not being counted.
BCOM (HONS) Candidates are required to score an aggregate of 55%
(49.5% for OBC and 52.25% for PWD) and 60% in vocational subjects.
M.Com (ENTRANCE) candidates are required to score an aggregate of
50% in BCom (Hons) or BA (Hons) Economics from DU or any
other recognized university. Candidates are required to score
an aggregate of 65% from DU or any recognized university.
MA (ENTRANCE) candidates are required to score an aggregate of
45% in the graduation. (MERIT) candidates are required to score
an aggregate of 50% in graduation.

Application Process

Listed below is the step-by-step application process for securing admission to DU SOL

  • Candidates must first register on the official website
  • Candidates must then log in and fill in the details of the application form.
  • They will be required to upload documents like photographs and signatures.
  • After paying the registration fees, the applicants can submit the form.
  • Candidates are required to print the fee receipt and the ID and get it verified in a designated SOL center.

Admission Process for DU SOL

UG – The courses offered at DU SOL follow the Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) and the same is divided into two semesters of six months each. The admission to all the UG programs is based on merit in the 10+2 exams for UG.

PG – The course duration for PG programs is 2 years. 50% seats of the total are filled through merit and the remaining 50% seats are filled based on the entrance test.

  • Duly filled application form
  • Bank draft of the admission confirmation fee
  • Two recent passport size photographs (one for the application and another for identity card)
  • Self-attested photocopy of Class X & XII Certificate
  • Self-attested photocopy of Reserve Category Certificates of the candidate only
  • Original Income Certificate (BPL Ration Card
  • Disability certificate (if applicable)
  • Original Provisional Certificate of Graduation for current year students (other students will have to submit the photocopy of degree certificate)
  • Migration Certificate in original
