DU JAT stands for Delhi University Joint Admission Test which is a national level entrance test conducted by NTA on behalf of DU. If you sit for the DU JAT, you can get admission to the following courses offered by 16 colleges under DU –

DU JAT 2022 Admit Card
The admit card for the DU JAT 2022 will be published in the latter week of June 2022. Candidates must save their admit cards for all subsequent admissions processes. The DU JAT 2022 Admit Card serves as identification, and it is the only way to enter the examination hall.Applicants in the General, SC, and ST categories, in particular.The ways to obtain a copy of the DU JAT 2022 Admit Card are as follows:
- The Admit Card may be downloaded from the official website by candidates.
- By entering your ID and password, you may access the candidates’ site.
- The admission card is available for download.
- Take a printout of the Admit Card and keep it in a safe place for future use.

DU JAT 2022 Eligibility Criteria
You have to fulfill the following requirements to be eligible to sit for the DU JAT –
- Candidates that belong to the General category must have scored a minimum of 60% in class 12.
- For those belonging to SC, ST, CW or PwD categories, a minimum of 55% in class 12 examinations will be needed.
- Students belonging to any other backward classes must have a minimum of 54%.
- The percentage will be calculated on the basis of the student’s marks in the following 4 subjects –
- English
- Mathematics
- Any two subjects on the List B of elective subjects as per the DU UG Admission Bulletin.
- Students who haven’t received their Class 12 results can also apply for the DU JAT.

DU JAT Admission Process
- Register for the exam – Registration for DU JAT 2022 is a two-step method. First, register by providing basic information such as name, email ID, number of contacts. Then to log in and complete the application form with personal and academic information, use your registered email ID and password.
- Getting the admit card – Next, you can download the admit card by entering the form number and date of birth. Applicants must bear in mind that the admission card is an important document that must be taken to the examination centre.
- Sitting for the exam – DU JAT 2022 will be conducted for two hours in a computer-based mode where applicants are asked questions about Quantitative Aptitude, Analytical & Logical Reasoning, General English and Business & General Knowledge.
- Answer key – Candidates can download the question paper and answer keys from the official NTA website and file for objections or challenges at a fee of INR 200 per answer.
- Results – Applicants are able to validate their results on the official NTA website. Ranks will be allocated to candidates on the basis of the weighted average score obtained during the entrance examination and the composite score obtained in Class 12, and a final merit list of selected candidates will be drawn up.
- Counselling process – Subject to seat availability, the counselling process can be carried out in several rounds. Candidates are allocated seats in accordance with their ranks and interests, subject to the availability of vacant seats in a specific organization. This will be accompanied by online record verification and confirmation of entry. The documents uploaded by the applicant for eligibility will be checked by the designated authorities. The status of the application on their dashboard will be reported to the applicant.
- Admission – On the UG Admissions portal, candidates who are accepted for admission will receive a link on their Dashboard through which they need to apply for the college/course fees. Candidates are expected to pay the fees and save the acceptance slip within 24 hours of admission approval. Only via the portal will this charge be charged online.

DU JAT 2022 Exam Pattern
DU JAT is a computer-based MCQ exam. The student will have to answer 100 questions in 2 hours. The entire paper is divided into the following 4 sections –
- Quantitative Ability
- Business and General Awareness
- English
- Reasoning and Analytical Ability
Each section has 25 questions and is available only in English. For every correct answer, the students get 3 marks, for every incorrect answer, 1 mark will be deducted.

DU JAT 2022 Result
The results of the DU JAT 2022 will be available online in the third week of July 2022. The outcome is presented in a scorecard format.
- The candidates’ percentile scores will be used to compile the DU JAT 2022 merit list.
- The admission exam accounts for 65 percent of the weighting in Delhi University colleges, while class 12 results account for 35 percent.
- Colleges will post their qualifying requirements when the DU JAT results are announced, and applicants will be able to apply based on their rank/percentile.
- To guarantee that no student gains an advantage or disadvantage as a result of it, Delhi University has implemented the DU JAT Normalization method to determine student scores.
- Equi-percentile score= [(Total no. of candidates in a shift) – (score of the candidate in the shift)] / (Total no. of candidates – 1) x 100 Equi-percentile score= [(Total no. of candidates in a shift) – (score of the candidate in the shift)] / (Total no. of candidates – 1)

DU JAT 2022 Cut Off
The colleges release the DU JAT 2022 cut off for each category individually. After the initial cut-off list is released, qualified candidates must take admission within two days. If seats remain empty after the first and second stages of admission, DU JAT will announce three cut-off lists.
- After the cut-off marks are announced, individuals who are eligible must participate in GDPI (Group Discussion and Personal Interview) rounds held by the institutions.
- The cutoff marks varies for general and reserved students, and colleges publish the rank range for General, SC, and ST candidates individually.
