What is DSSSB?
DSSSB stands for Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board which was set up by the Delhi Government to generate employment opportunities for skilled candidates for a wide range of technical and non-technical appointments within the government and local bodies/PSUs. Every year the Board releases a set of vacancies for posts like Trained Graduate Teachers(TGT), Post Graduate Teachers(PGT), Stenographer, Engineer, Caretaker, Technical Assistant, Technical Assistant, Pharmacist etc.

DSSSB Recruitment 2021
DSSSB Recruitment process has started; the Board has announced that there will be over 12000 vacancies for both non-teaching and teaching posts. Interested and eligible candidates are required to register online through their website.
Registration Process
Candidates can fill out the application forms available online for their eligible posts. Candidates are required to fill out the application form details, upload relevant documents and pay the application fees. They must download a copy of their application form. The application fees for the General and OBC category is Rs. 100 while the special categories can apply free of cost.

Eligibility Criteria
DSSSB conducts written tests, skill tests and personal interviews for the announced vacancies every year. The eligibility criteria varies based on the post. Hence, here are the important eligibility requirements you must meet
- Must be an Indian citizen
- Candidates must have qualified 10+2 level of examination to be eligible
- Must be a graduate or postgraduate from a recognised university/institution
- Candidates must be between the ages of 18 to 35; the age limit is subject to the applied post and the category of the applicant
- Candidates must meet the specific requirements of the desired post to be eligible

Exam Pattern
The exam pattern differs according to the post; the written test is conducted either as an one-tier exam or as a two-tier exam followed by a personal interview and skill tests depending upon the post you have applied for.
One-Tier Exam consists of objective questions and the duration of the exam is 2 hours. The total marks of the paper are 200 marks and contains two sections A and B. The exam sets the competency of the candidate with subjects like General Awareness, General Intelligence and Reasoning Ability, Arithmetical and Numerical Ability, Hindi Language, and English Language & Comprehension. Section B consists of multiple choice questions from the post-graduation level of the candidates. The total allotted are 100 marks and candidates must be well-versed in their subject areas to score well in the paper.
Two – Tier Exam consists of objective and descriptive questions. The exam has two sections: 1 and 2. Section one consists of multiple choice questions from areas like General Awareness, General Intelligence and Reasoning Ability, Arithmetical and Numerical Ability, Hindi Language, and English Language & Comprehension while Section 2 is a descriptive test which tests the writing ability and competency of the candidate.
