Educational Qualifications
As the DSSB board has different criteria for different posts, let’s take a look at all of them. We have tabulated below the educational qualifications for various posts under the DSSSB exam 2022.

PRT Nursery | The applicant must have passed and obtained a high school diploma with a minimum of aggregate 45 per cent marks. Moreover, the qualification should be from a credible and recognised board. The applicant should also have a certificate or diploma in the program of Nursery Teacher Education (duration of 2 years). The applicant having a B.Ed degree is also eligible and the degree is preferred. Additionally, the applicant should have had the subject of Hindi at the secondary level in school. |
PRT | The applicant must have passed and obtained a high school diploma with a minimum aggregate of 50 per cent marks. Moreover, the qualification should be from a credible and recognised board. Next, the applicant should also have a diploma in elementary education (duration of two years) and be certified with the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET). |
PGT | The applicant must have passed and obtained a Master’s degree with a minimum of 50 per cent in respective subjects. Moreover, the qualification should be from a credible and recognised board. They should also be qualified with a degree in education from a recognised university. |
TGT | The applicant must have passed and obtained a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 45 per cent in the respective subject. Moreover, the qualification should be from a credible and recognised board. The applicant should also have a B.Ed and qualify for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test. |
Counsellor | The applicant should have had a qualification, at Bachelors’ and Masters’ level, in psychology or applied psychology. |
Patwari | The applicant should have passed a bachelor’s in any subject. |
Head Clerk | The applicant should be proficient with computers and must have a bachelor’s degree from a credible board. |
Age Limit
There’s also an age limit on the people who can apply for the various posts under the DSSSB Exam.
Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) | The applicant should not be more than 36 years of age. |
Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) | The applicant should not be more than 32 years of age. |
Primary – Assistant Teacher | The applicant should not be more than 30 years of age. |
Nursery – Assistant Teacher | The applicant should not be more than 30 years of age. |
Junior Secretarial Assistant (LDC) | The applicant should not be more than 27 years of age. |
