Deakin Vice-Chancellor’s Meritorious 100% Scholarship (India)

This international scholarship recognizes Indian students with high academic potential and their ability to contribute to the university. This scholarship is only applicable to the Indian applicants and the successful students will get a 100% of the total indicative tuition fee that is stated on the Letter of Offer, priority place on the campus, and direct participation in the Vice-Chancellor’s Professional Excellence Program.

  1. Applicant should be an Indian citizen with a valid Indian Passport
  2. The application should be residing in India at the time of application
  3. The applicant should be applying through any Deakin Authorized agent based in India
  4. Applicant must have 85% overall in year 12 scores of CBSE/ICSE/State Board; or
  5. 10 overall in the General Certificate of Secondary Education (GCSE)/A Level; or
  6. 32 overall in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP); or
  7. 80% overall in an undergraduate degree

Deakin India Postgraduate Bursary 20%

  • This Deakin University international scholarship aids Indian applicants by offering them a 20% bursary in paying for their university fees and all study costs. The successful applicants will receive a bursary of 20% of the total tuition fee that is stated on the offer letter. This is available for the entire duration of the course. 

Eligibility

Deakin India Merit Scholarship 25%

This scholarship is for Indian applicants who show exceptional academic achievements. It provides successful students with a 25% tuition fee waiver to pay for their university fees and all study costs. This amount will be 25% of the tuition fees stated on the offer letter. The payments will be applied to the fee record after each applicable census date. 

Eligibility

In order to be eligible, the following criteria must be met,

  1. Applicant should be an Indian citizen living in India
  2. Applicant should be residing in India at the time of application
  3. Applicant should be applying through any Deakin Authorized agent based in India
  4. Applicant should have an overall score of 75% and above in an undergraduate degree when applying for a postgraduate program, or
  5. Applicants should have an overall score of 80% and above in the 12th standard
  • Deakin India Undergraduate Bursary 20% – this scholarship is similar to the postgraduate bursary discussed above with the difference being its applicability is only for the undergraduate programs. A 20% bursary of the total fees mentioned in the offer letter is available for the normal course duration. Eligibility – an applicant is eligible for this bursary only if the below-mentioned criteria are met.
  1. Applicant should be an Indian citizen living in India
  2. Applicant should be residing in India at the time of application
  3. Applicant should be applying through any Deakin Authorized agent based in India
  4. The applicant must have an overall score between 70%-79.9% in the 12th standard when applying for an undergraduate degree.
