CA Final Dates 2021 Announced!
ICAI recently announced the Chartered Accountants Intermediate, Final & PQC Examinations dates for the Year 2021 will be 5th, 7th, 9th & 11th December 2021 for Group-I subjects and 13th, 15th, 17th & 19th Dec 2021 for CA Final Group-II papers.
CA Final Exam
CA Final Exam is conducted by the ICAI (Institute Chartered Accountant of India). The applicants that qualify are eligible for membership of CA by ICAI. The exam is conducted in offline mode across India and at international centers as well. The applicant with CA qualification is equal to the postgraduate degree holder. The CA exam has three-level and the last qualifying level is called CA Final that has 8 papers.

CA Final Exam Eligibility
After successfully qualifying the first two stages of the course, it is the showtime for the final hurdle to cross. To apply and register for CA Final exam, you must meet the eligibility criteria. Unless the ICAI holds the authority to cancel your candidature. Below listed are the important requisites for registering in the exam:
- The candidates should have qualified the Intermediate Examination or Professional Education Examination- II
- Those willing to appear in the May 2020 exam, must have registered on or before 1st May 2020 or should have converted before 1st February 2020 for the final new course under the board of studies
- The registration for the CA Final exam is valid only for 5 years. Applicants can renew the registration after the expiry period. Thus, the candidates must make sure that on the day of examination they must have a valid registration number to become eligible for the examination
- As on the date of filling the examination form, candidates must have a valid experience of 3 to 3.5 years of articleship

- Visit the official website of ICAI and open the registration form by clicking here.
- Carefully fill in all the necessary details asked like Name, Date of Birth, Mobile Number, Email ID, Aadhar Number and set a unique password.
- Once you create your account, Login with the credentials at the registration portal.
- You can add all the essential details, from personal to academic.
- Upload the scanned copy of the documents (listed in the next section) asked as per the mentioned size.
- Make payment (mentioned in the sections below)
- Save the registration number and password.
Application Fee
All applicants have to pay the application fee to complete the registration process. The CA Final registration fee can be paid through credit/debit card or Internet banking. The amount of the application fee is based on the location of the exam center and group. Here is the application fee for CA final:

Documents Required for Registration
While filling up the CA final registration from here is the list of documents that all applicants will require:
- Category certificate (if applicable)
- CA/PCC/Intermediate exam 2021 mark sheet
- Nationality certificate
- Passport size photograph
- Scanned signature of the candidate
Admit Card
Once you have completed the registration and date of releasing admit card has come, you can download the admit card following this procedure:
- Visit the official website
- Click on the option ‘View Admit Card’
- Enter User ID and Password
- CA Final 2021 admit card will be generated.
- Download the admit card and print it for further use
Exam Pattern for CA Final Exam
It is beneficial to enquire about the format of question paper of any of the competitive exams before starting with its preparation. In total there are 8 papers which candidates have to qualify to achieve their career aspirations. In every paper, 30% of the emphasis would be laid on the objective type questions. While 70% of the paper would be as per the latest pattern of the assessment. Here are some quick pointers to get a hold of the CA Final exam pattern:
- In each 100 marks paper, there will be objective questions of 30 marks in MCQ format
- Approximately, the 1 mark MCQs would be 10 to 16 whereas 2 marks MCQs would range from 7 to 10
- All the MCQs will be mandatory to attempt and there will be no internal or external choice in them
- There is no negative marking for the MCQ questions
