Born and raised in mumbai Arjun is 21 year old and son of sachin tendulkar and anjali tendulkar. He completed his schooling at Dhirubhai Ambani International School in Mumbai and always wanted to be a cricket player. Just like his father, he started playing at an early age. At age of 8 master blaster arranged a cricket coaching club for his son. He has an elder sister Sara Tendulkar that is following her mother’s footsteps and completed her education in medicine from University College London.

Arjun Tendulkar is passionate about cricket and has been practising it since early ages. He was part of the cricket team in his school and he took 8 wickets for 22 runs against Jamnabai Narsee school. He played his first national-level match in the year 2011 at the cadence trophy tournament in Pune. In the Under – 14 match. He registered his first century against Goregaon centre in the year 2012 & selected to play the BCCI tournament Under – 14 west zone leg matches. He was selected for the Sri Lanka tour under -19 in the year 2018. He was under limelight during the whole Sri Lanka tour and took his international wicket by dismissing Kamil Mishara. At the start of the year 2021, he made his debut in the Twenty20 series in the Syed Mushtaq Ali trophy. With all these debuts he is all set to make his IPL debut in 2021.

Arjun was always fascinated by his father’s cricket career and wanted to be a part of the Mumbai Indians team in IPL just like his father was. In IPL auction 2021, he was bought by the Mumbai Indians team at the base price of Rs. 20 lakhs.
Official Twitter team of Mumbai Indians posted a tweet welcoming him & also released a video of Arjun in another tweet where he quoted “He is a die-hard fan of Mumbai Indians & cant wait to wear blue & gold ”

He is an all-rounder but loves bowling. In an interview with BBC, he revealed that revealed his reason for becoming a bowler.
