Merit Scholarship

The Merit Scholarship is open to undergraduate students from the UK (and eligible EU/EEA students) who are taking exams in summer 2021 and expecting to achieve BBB. UK or eligible EU students studying a full-time undergraduate degree on our Cambridge, Chelmsford or Peterborough Guild House campuses are eligible for this scholarship. With an amount of £1,000 (₹1,00,180), you’ll automatically receive your Merit Scholarship if you meet the eligibility criteria and register as an ARU student.

Alumni Scholarship

The Alumni Scholarship is for students who have completed an ARU degree course and want to undertake further study. It is for UK or eligible EU students starting a postgraduate taught or postgraduate research degree. The scholarship comes with either a 20% discount on postgraduate taught courses or a £400 (₹40,072) discount on postgraduate research programmes. You’ll automatically be assessed for our Alumni Scholarship when you apply for a course.

Sport Scholarship

ARU’s Sports Scholarship is designed to support talented athletes during their time at ARU.

It is primarily for Undergraduate and postgraduate students who compete at regional, national or international levels. There are two levels of scholarship, ranging from £1,400 (₹1,40,252) up to £12,500 (₹12,52,253) per year. To apply for this scholarship you need to fill up an application form, including a supporting statement outlining why you’re suitable for this scholarship.

MBA Scholarship

Through the prestigious Master of Business Administration (MBA), you can study in the Cambridge campus with a good amount of fee reduction. Both the UK and international students pursuing an MBA course can apply for this scholarship. The scholarship is with £4,000 (₹4,00,721) for the one-year course or £2,000 (₹2,00,360) for the two-year course with placement. The university administration will automatically consider you for this scholarship when you apply for the MBA program at ARU.

International Excellence Scholarship

The International Excellence Scholarship is awarded to students who can demonstrate exceptional academic and extra-curricular achievement. International students studying for an undergraduate or postgraduate taught degree are eligible for this scholarship.

The scholarship is worth £4,000 (₹4,00,721) and you are required to complete an application form and submit a 500-word supporting statement outlining why you’re suitable for this scholarship.

International Merit Scholarship

Every year, ARU awards a number of Merit Scholarships to international students who are starting a course at ARU. International students applying for an undergraduate, postgraduate or research degree receive this scholarship which is worth between £1,000 (₹1,00,180) and £2,000 (₹2,00,360). You’ll automatically receive the International Merit Scholarship if you meet the eligibility criteria.

International Alumni Scholarship

If you’re already an undergraduate student at ARU and want to move onto a postgraduate course, you may be eligible for the International Alumni Scholarship. International students who have completed an undergraduate degree at ARU and are applying for a postgraduate or research degree are eligible for this award which is worth £3,000 (₹3,00,540). Upon meeting the eligibility criteria, the International Alumni Scholarship will be automatically forwarded to you.

Will I have to be vaccinated to study at university?

ARU continues to follow Government guidance around vaccinations and encourage their staff and students to get vaccinated as soon as possible to help stop the spread of COVID-19. They do also recognise, and respect, that there may be valid medical, cultural, or other factors why individuals may not want or be able to be vaccinated. Some of their health care courses may require students to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 to be placed within certain settings, such as care homes, as vaccination is both for students’ own protection and that of their patients. This is subject to legislation being passed and if it does, will be implemented from October 2021. 

What steps will be taken to keep me safe on campus?
