What is AME CET?

AME CET or Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Common Entrance Test is a national level examination offering admissions in courses like Aerospace Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Aircraft Maintenance Engineering, etc. These courses are approved by the registered Government organisations of India. The selected candidates will be equipped with technical knowledge and skills related to maintenance, inspection repair and modification of aircraft and internal mechanisms through these programs which are offered in the form of BSc, BE, BTech, and license.

AME CET Registration

• You need to add your passport sized photograph as well
• Pay the entrance exam fees
• After successfully completing  your payment, you will receive a Registration number on your mentioned mobile number or email address.
• The registration number will be used for any communication for the AME CET.

• Visit an AME CET approved centre and purchase the AME CET 2021 form after paying the registration fee. 
• Fill the form and add your photograph.
• Next, you need to post that form to the below mentioned address:

Admit Card

The admit card is issued before the entrance exam in June 2021. It is treated like an entry ticket that all candidates must carry with them to the exam centre. Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for every course, certificate and diploma programme offered via AME CET differs. Here is the eligibility criteria that candidates must follow-

Age

• All candidates between the age of 14 to 30 are eligible for admissions to different programmes.

Number of Attempts

• Each candidate has 3 attempts and no more.

Course-Wise Eligibility 

• For License and engineering courses like Pilot, AME (DGCA), AME, Aeronautical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, B Sc Aeronautical, B Sc in AME, B Sc in Aviation, all candidates must have graduated with PCM in 12th class to qualify for the exam.
• For Licenses programme like AME (EASA) and diploma programmes like AME, Aeronautical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, the minimum eligibility is 10th class.                                      
• For Graduation programmes like BBA in Aviation and BBA in Airport Management, the minimum criteria is 12th in any stream.
• For Certification courses like Cabin Crew, Airport Management, Ground Staff courses, the minimum eligibility criteria is 12th in any stream.

AME CET Exam Pattern 

Students appearing for AME CET should familiarize themselves with the examination pattern. Generally, topics will be asked from MPC subjects [Maths, Physics, and Chemistry] along with English and GK. The pattern slightly varies for 12th class pass-outs and 3-year diploma holders. It is equally important to know for every correct answer, 4 marks will be rewarded while for incorrect answers, 1 mark will be deducted. The AME CET results are announced after a week of the exam being held. The results for AME CET 2021 will be announced by the first or second week of June 2021. Students who want to check their results can follow the steps given below:
